treadmill-portable-folding-incline-cardio-fitness-exercise-home-gym-manualWith so many portable fitness products out there, it is hard to sift through the garbage and see what is truly valuable. From portable weights to contraptions that attach to your door, there is no limitation to the number of products that could come. In this review, I will be discussing the product called Treadmill Portable Folding Incline Cardio Fitness, going over its features, its pros and cons, and if it is worth buying.
What It Is
The Treadmill Portable Folding Incline Cardio Fitness is a portable treadmill that can be taken with you on trips, or can fit somewhere in your living room. Whatever the purpose for a portable treadmill, you have to respect the capacity of a product such as a treadmill being contorted into a portable device! As human beings, we tend to be sedentary creatures when given the capability to do so, and that is why all of these portable devices are beingFor the sake of. brevity, let us dive right in.
This product is from Best Choice Products. Sported as a “if you have little time to go to the gym” kind of product, it can be set up at home, in a hotel, or outside for your exercise needs. Requiring no electrical outlet for its use, it features an LCD monitor that allows you to track progress as you go.
Considered a manual treadmill, it does not feature a motor. Rather, batteries power this device. Features include heavy duty construction, a flywheel for smooth operation, and a folding/locking mechanism that allows for portability. A rather unique product, it allows for exercise at your own pace. Supporting up to 250 pounds, this is not for the faint-of-heart. If you want to exercise and exercise properly, this is a product for you.
I think this would be a very good product to use when on the go. Why go to the gym when you can stick a small, 44-inch device in your living room and work out while watching television? Though I have not used the product, I can see the value. For such a low price (less than $100) and a pair of batteries, you can get you work out on! I would love to see someone take this with them through an airline, and while on a big trip requiring a lot of time spent walking around in a sedentary manner, you go back to your hotel and start burning off that conference room’s lack of nutrition (I have not tried this product but I have been to a number of conferences, and I can say with all due respect, that the food is never good). It seems worth the price!
Though there can be flaws here. Without a motor or the ability to plug into an electrical outlet, how do we know this product will not overheat during a hard workout? Without the proper ventilation, this could easily become a fire hazard in disguise. It can also (potentially) be a product that you never use. If you have access to a gym, as an example, why would you need a flimsy product like this? There are strengths here; there are also weaknesses. So, let us call upon those who have actually tried the product.
Wow, almost 5 stars on Amazon.com! Some are saying it is worth the buy; others are saying it breaks the moment you step onto it. Of course there is going to be user bias. As with any product on Amazon.com, even those with 1,000 reviews and a great track record (no pun intended) will have a few negative Nancy’s.
One reviewer stated the product was fine, worked great, and was easy to assemble, sporting less than a total of 25 minutes to put together from start to finish. Others are saying it is severely affected by the force of gravity, meaning that though it is battery-powered, it is mostly based on gravity alone. This, in essence, causes it to be almost unusable. So who do you trust? I would trust your own inhibitions.
Deals and Discounts
I will put it to you this way: when cheaper on Amazon.com, it is usually a good indication. Amazon.com has a stellar record of keeping its products at their lowest, purchasing straight from the manufacturer. I would shoot for Amazon.com as the seller, but there are other locations it is available, some even cheaper. Google.com has several websites that have 1) more reviews to go by and 2) cheaper pricing.
Of course they all go by different names (Amazon.com uses specific names for their products, as do others), but the same principle is in motion here. If you can find a better deal on Google, I would say go for it, but be wary: just because it is $15 cheaper does not mean you will get the same product as the one on Amazon.com.
In conclusion, this product seems fine. I would recommend it for portable use, but I would honestly go by the reviews from those who have actually used theConfidence Power Plus Motorized Electric Treadmill It seems like it would work great for someone who does not weigh much, and thus would not be so susceptible to the force of gravity. However, based only on that, I would go ahead and make a purchase if you feel you need this product. It seems to have a great track record, and the fact that so many mimics are popping up shows that the market is headed in the right direction. Go with your gut, but do not avoid it at all costs. It can work, just try it!
